Hi Guys,

I just got a Samsung Smart TV and am slightly disappointed by the performance. It seems to take quite a while to load and apps like netflix take a while to render when scrolling through movies.

I've also tried to update the firmware but for some reason it is greyed out even though I don't have the latest version. Has anyone else experienced these issues?

Would help if we knew which TV model you have...

As an aside- I have a 48 Inch 5200 series TV.

It connects via WiFi to the home router and has Plex and Youtube etc on it. I switch the TV on and about 40-50 seconds later the TV is ready to work on Apps and Internet. The longest time to boot is probably on the connections and internet stuff. I just put it on and off I go.

No issue with responsiveness on Plex server or Youtube

It's the 6 series. It's not to boot. It's the delay when scrolling through the app

Yes, it is a bit slow. But once you have selected netflix etc. it's fine.

I actually never use any of the other apps to be honest. Mine is 6200 series , 48"

Download the update files, stick it on a USB and update...
