Samsung Spica and Android 2.1

My fellow Android users, have any of you had luck getting the Spica 1.5 Cupcake Android updated to Android 2.1?

The NPS software does not seem to pick up that there is an update and I know that the 2.1 Android update is available in the rest of the world.

Any help?

The Android 2.1 update for the Spica hasn't come out yet but is still in approval stages with the networks, that's why NPS doesn't pick it up right now.
