Our old samsung aircon has developed a bad leak. Normally this is just a blocked drain pipe, but our drain is clean and clear. After taking off the front cover and watching, I see there is a condensation trail coming from somewhere at the back behind the blower, down the blower housing and onto the cover where it collects and drips at various points along the bottom edge. So I'm trying to remove the blower fan to see if I can see why the condensation is running like that instead of down to the drainage tray. To do that I need to see behind the fan blower...so I need to remove it.
Other fan blowers have a securing screw you can access via a hole in the fins, but ours has to be different and has no retention screw that I can see (and no cutout). Anyone know the dark mysterious way to remove the blower if it does not use the standard retention screw method?
