Samsung SyncMaster S24B370 blue tint

Hi.

I recently got this monitor and it seems to have this blue tint and dull appearance. My colour tone is set to normal. Is this how they are supposed to be? Look at the image compared to the brightness and whiteness of my laptop display. That's the same image stretched on both screens.

From the front.

Just looked from the sides and it appears whiter. Magic Angle is set to Off.

Seems faulty, anything happen when you gently pinch/warp the sides?

Where are you located? Google for a "CRT" repair centre in your area.

Not really. Another guy at work got one too so I'll check his tomoro.

It's important that you test yours with the same cable on his/another laptop/desktop, that will rule out everything else but the screen as being faulty.
