Last night I was watching a movie and then a green vertical line appeared in the middle of my tv.

Im not sure if this is a panel issue or something else.

The issue appears no matter what you watching, hdmi, tv, usb.

I did a reset and its still there.

Any advice on what could be the issue?

sounds very much like a panel issue sadly, is it in warranty?

I had a Samsung tv that made the lines. I took it to a authorized Samsung repair center. Was told the TV (4 Years old) is discontinued. Apparently SA is a dumping ground for products that has been or being discontinued.

I was told Samsung connections to the screen is glued. Over time with heat from use the glue gets brittle. once the glued connection to the screen breaks it becomes unrepairable on a discontinued tv as there is no parts available.

Not sure if yours would be the same issue.

i have repaired those type of connections with a hair dryer and a pencil a couple of times, sure it wont last forever, but works

After being told it cant be fixed, I did try and repair it myself and it just would not work. Guess mine was really broken. I did donate it to the repair center as they asked if they can use it for parts.
