Well, I just hope they are not built/assembled by Samsung South Africa like the current LED TV's and computer monitors.
Two years ago I decided to replace all my old TV's with new LED TV's. I bought two 40 " Samsungs, when I opened them up, brand new in a sealed box, they had some hair and finger smudges all over the screen. One of them failed right after 12 months, so I had no warranty. I also bought two 32 " Samsung LED TV's for the kids rooms, and one of those packed up.
Then 2 weeks ago I bought two 27 " Samsung computer monitors, one was fine, and the other has lines all over the screen.
Check where your TV/monitors are assembled first, if it says SA, then buyer beware. I have a 50 % success rate with SA assembled Samsung TV's and monitors
