Samsung Warrantee

I recall seeying a earlier tread regarding the Samsung LCD and 3 year warrantee period linked to it. Please forward the relevant hyperlink in order to investigate. Also advise on the period this offer is running from and to. Does the official SAMSUNG website, http://www.samsung.com/za/index.html comment on this. Much appreciated.

I phoned Samsung and was told that all new Samsung Lcd and plasma tv's sold from end September 09 to end December 09 will have 3 year manufacture warrentee. I had the store confirm this with their Samsung rep.

The article I was looking for was posted on http://mybroadband.co.za/ called Samsung & LG extended warrantees. Got hold of the hard copy printed out earlier : )
The google function tried earlier http://www.samsung.com/za/support/main/servicePolicyWarranty.do do not indicate and reflect the extension data information.
a Follow-up call to Samsung confirmed the extension on the one year to 3 year manufactures guarantee effective end September to 31 December 2009.
