Samsung Wave 3 with Bada 2.0

I am currently due for a handset upgrade on my Weekender package.
The Galaxy S2 and iPhone 4S are both cool handsets, but a little too expensive for my liking.

The Samsung Wave 3 is advertised in the current Vodacom magazine at R199-00. This does not seem like a bad price. My big concern, though, is that it does not use an Android OS, but rather Bada 2.0.

Is this a bad thing ? Anyone have any useful thoughts on this.

I've just seen that Incredible Connection is advertising the Galaxy S2 @ R249-00 per month on the business contract incl 250meg x 24months. Vodacoms mag has this same phone at @ R299 incl the 250 meg data.

Is the Wave 3 worth considering or should I ignore it and go for the S2 (with its proven track record but higher price tag) ?
If I wanted a S2 on my contract, I would need to pay in R4049-00 :mad:
 
well in terms of normal phone functionality I'll say go for it:P But when it comes down to apps then I am afraid the S2 will be the better one.
 
Dude, I had the Wave 2 for only 3 months and hated the damn thing, all the apps is either paid-apps or junk, and the bada OS sucks ass!

I sold the phone and got the HTC desire S and I love it, Android is just the best.

So, DONT get the Wave 3 rather get an android phone.
 
Bada OS is good, very easy to use and similar to android, but is missing all the good apps, so rather go for GS2
 
If you value your blood pressure, I would suggest staying as far away from BADA as possible.

Cannot wait to drop-kick one of our Wave 1's into orbit when the next upgrade is due.
 
Okay - I've done it.
I'm now a proud owner of a Galaxy S2.
Got it yesterday afternoon.
Other than a few hours sleep last night, I've been playing with it non-stop.
Its charging for the 2nd time today.
