Hey

What do they mean by 'whitebox' with regards to the Samsung external drive?
Whats the difference?

Anyone have any of these models and whats your experience?

AFAIK it means it's OEM. I stand to be corrected, but I reckon it's just the packaging that differs between OEM & retail. I think any extras will be excluded as well.
I've read in some places that it may be refurbished goods.

Your best bet would be to ask the store you're looking at buying it from.

Basically just Samsung hard drives in cheap basic enclosures. No problems really, the HDD is most important and Samsungs are great.

I bought one (from Sahara) and it was a basic silver case with the fabric pouch and cables. Very neat, very effective.
