Samwu defends street trashing

Uhm, BCO. You misinterpreted what I said as a racial slur. And thats your own problem. When I refer to the strikers as apes, I do so because they act in a similar way to the ape animals.

I agree, call a spade a spade. There's probably a few scattered wit ous and maybe a few coloureds buried in that lot, so its a generalised term for their misbehaviour.

Anybody who acts like a Vervet should be prepared to have his title follow suite.

Our natural wildlife doesnt get away with over-turning garbage cans and breaking into houses to steal food, therefore I see no reason why any member of our human population should be excluded from punishment and ridicule if they act the same as an ape.

Oi, enough with the simian abuse already. These idiots are a good couple of rungs lower on the evolutionary ladder than apes/baboons/monkeys!

When I see those fkn apes turning over rubbish bins I get so angry I wish I could slit their throuts. Really. That's how angry I get. Wish I could throw a hand granade into the crowd!
And the unions keep saying that they don't condone the acts, and if we see any of their members involved in the act then we should report them to authorities. The fkn authorities are too fkn scared to do a damn thing. They stand on the sidelines and let the apes do as they please!

Couldn't agree with you more, except I feel you are being a bit harsh on apes here. They don't behave like these fkn savages.

Please dude, stop calling them apes - this is a term that was used a lot in the apartheid days, and it can be very offensive. I will have to report continued racial slurs.

AAh! those apartheid days, Oh that we could have them back!

*sigh* Blixem, if that was not your intention, then I apologise.

Having said that, I recommend that you use a word that does not have a long history as a racial slur next time. Perhaps something like "idiots" etc. Especially in light of the fact that probably 99% or more of the municipal strikers are, in fact, black.

Dude you really don't have your eye on the ball if this is your biggest concern, much like Malema, et al.

Where did I say it was my biggest concern? I do still think that it is important not to propagate racial stereotypes, even unintentionally. Why is this issue so taboo?

Off topic, now let it go.

aaah correction, our wildlife does get away with over-turned garbage cans and breaking into houses, go live in Scarborough (Ctn).
Hence the similarities, they both get away with it.
