Hi again forumites

I have a Dell Powervault MD3600i which I need to set up to be replicated to a Dell Powervault MD3000i.

According to Dell, it's not possible with any of their software / premium features to get this to work, so I am seeking any experienced SAN administrators / users out there who may be familiar with any 3rd-party software that can enable virtual disk copying or similar replication between two SANs.

Worst case, I need to do an in-guest scheduled backup or rsync of the data but that's not ideal if there's a SAN-to-SAN solution out there...

The only way you will get a SAN-to-SAN solution is if at minimum the hard drive configurations in both are identical. Which I assume they are not, in which case you will probably need to manually sync the data.

You mentioned in another thread you were using VMware and Veeam. If you expose both devices to VMware you can use Veeam to replicate systems living on the primary storage to the secondary storage.
