Sandton city hotspot

Who in his right mind will pay R1.5 to R2 a minute to use this hotspot ?! I would much rather connect using my 3g cellphone paying for only the megs I use. When will SA learn time based billing ONLY works for voice NOT new generation data services? Telkom must be managing this hotspot for sure!

Nope, sad to say this hotspot is actually not managed by Telkom, but a private individual intent on sucking the life out of our wallets.
 
It's Sandton City doll ... Parking for under an hour is R5, bottle of water is R9 .... it's basically for the Sandton Poppies to platz while transferring more money from the hubby's account online.

6c to R1 a min... Wouldn't mind paying 6c a minute for 54mbps....
 
LMAO. 54Mbps to the access point yes, and then perhaps 1mb/s over some shared ADSL line.
 
There was the bottom line ... "In conjunction with Telkom", so its automatically a ripoff! Use the open Accesspoints in Sandton Towers, they dont bill ;->
