Ok so Sandy Bridge will hit our shores very soon. Will be interesting to see If prices for the outgoing Intel Socket will drop or stay the same. I for one can't wait for it to get here seeing there are already motherboards out supporting the new Tech.

I'm also keen to see it arrive, but I'm waiting for the "S" and "T" chips, nice low power models for HTPCs. The onboard graphics appeals to me, and the new boards with USB 3 and DVI, HDMI and Displayport (so I can plug it straight into a zr30w <drool> or my TV). Hopefully soon!

My HTPC is going to be more powerful than my main desktop, thanks to these chips (and cheaper too), but I refuse to upgrade a perfectly good computer that isn't even two years old. Moore's law, I guess.

Prophecy's got them in stock already, but not even Newegg has the "S" or "T" models yet, so that's going to be a while.

I really want to see a review of 2500T and 2100T. It bothers me that they are significantly lower frequency but as soon as it Turbos it shoots up to nearly the same frequency as the standard parts. Makes me think that Intel quote those TDP ratings based on non-Turbo rates.

Anyone know if Esquire will start selling these soon?
