Of course its only violent video games that cause people to flip out, never violent movies...

Why don't law enforcement stick to law enforcement and leave the psychological analysis to psychological analysts...?

Now I'm not a gamer, nor do I care for the industry, BUT:

Video games have also been linked to Lanza following a report from PBS/Hartford Courant which detailed an obsession with shooters and a fascination with weaponry. When searching Lanza’s home, police apparently found “thousands of dollars worth” of violent videos games. Police have speculated that the shooter games may have influenced Lanza’s actions during the massacre as he “reloaded more often than was necessary”.

WTF? How much brain function does a single individual have to lose in order to find causal relationships like this? It's like letting a toddler play with putty and then using the result as a structural engineering design for a skyscraper. Stop involving yourself in stuff that is quite evidently outside of your cranial capacity...

What a bull**** comparison. Rapists don't rape cause they're horny, it's an act of power. Gamers don't kill because they play violent video games, they kill cause they're ****ed in the head.
