My brother in law once owned a farm outside Krugersdorp. One day in late 1991 the SAP arrived looking for this male person, who worked on his farm as a labourer overseer. He had apparently been hired by a local Portugese farmer to "sort out" someone who owed this farmer money, but he hit him too hard and the victim died, so it became murder
He was convicted and got a 15 year sentence. The Portugese farmer got 7 years. The murderer died in prison, of what we don't know, it just says "swakheid" on the death certificate
So the wife of the Portugese farmer, now suffering financially, goes to this Sangoma and arranges for a bad spell to be placed on the convicted murderer and his whole extended family (about 15 of them)
Since then 14 out of the 15 have died and all women who became pregnant miscarried. The one remaining relative (now a man of 24 years) came to see my brother in law asking for R 10 000 which is the price the Sangoma charges for reversing the spell. So my brother in law tells him that spells in Gauteng will not work in the Cape and he should come and live here. He got him a job on a fruit farm near Ashton. Last week this fellow collapses in the field and they take him to the Montagu Hospital. He has advanced TB, yet has never shown any symptoms.
The nurses at the hospital are adamant that this is a result of this curse. How they found out this about we do not know. The 24 year old is on a ventilator and cannot speak
