Back in (I think) the 90s somewhere, SANLAM was demutualised and policy holders received shares.

Does any of you know if they can they be traded and is their value the same as normal SANLAM shares? What is the share value?

Thanks

AFAIK their value is the same as Sanlam's share price atm, and yes, you can trade/sell them

Computershare manages those "free" shares if you did not transfer it to another company. You should be getting dividend and share statements.
And yes they can be sold, value is same as the sanlam share price. Share code is SLM (that is what is on my share statement)
