Sanral e-tag complaints flood in

Consumers air their grievances about Sanral and its e-toll system, complaining about missing invoices, poor service levels, and incorrect billing

And so it begins...

Don't have a tag. Have not registered. Don't know how much I owe and I use the tollways. I don't care!

Well those who bought an etag and registered and now they have Scumrail deducting money willy nilly should suffer the consequences - don't say you were not warned.

No etag no worries...to those who bought did you honestly think it was going to managed perfectly? Thank god I didnt

My sister's car ran up an account of almost R350 standing in a locked garage while she was out of the country. When she called Sanral she was instructed to submit proof that the vehicle was not on the road. She replied that she would rather wait for a summons to appear in court. She was informed that this will happen sometime next year. Watch this space!

You have a he she problem here, unless your "sister" is your brother.

I have some sympathy for those people that did register with SCAMRAL and got tagged, but stupid is as stupid does and they should have listened to "The Resistance".

Haha where is that spokesman now

Woosy Moaner has put up a "do not disturb" sign whilst he is on leave and hobnobbing with the cANCer bigwigs in the hopes that he will one day replace the "big Mac" as the person that tells the most lies in government.

We all know that government organisations do not have a good track record of implementing IT systems. Look at eNatis and CoJ billing for example. Why should we expect this system to be any different?

I think SANRAL is purposely creating incorrect billing for registered users and make it difficult to rectify the issue. People will just give up and SANRAL is racking in the money. I feel no pity for the people who have registered.

This system is going to collapse looooong before the first person can even be prosecuted, lol.
