Me thinks someone wants to win a Ciprofloxacin tender - I don't even think there was one real Anthrax case reported globally in the last decade. I am not sure why people go on about anthrax - it's something which you can not easily create without having access to sophisticated equipment (or having it sourced fro Russia) - either way, I doubt that Sanral would be such a great target using a substance of this nature.

Almost sounds like there is more to the story (disgruntled workers, companies upset about not having won a tender etc?)

Well cover-ups are what this government does well. On a related note, many people at my workplace believe Mandela was dead in April last year already and only announced in December to shift attention away from Nkandla and SANRAL.
