Sansui UMP 1004 problems

Hi guys.

My father-in-law's Sansui UMP 1004 multimedia player does not want to display at all on the tv screen. The one day it was working fine, then the next, nothing.

Has anyone encountered such a problem and know of a quick fix?

Try this: Remove power cable. Press and hold down power button for 20 seconds. Re-connect power cable. You may also want to open the unit and clean out any dust that accumulates around the cooling fan. These units do tend to overheat...
