SAOL 384k Uncapped and Gaming experience?

Basically my question here is this: Is there anybody who has this R499 uncapped deal from SAOL that can post and paste ping results to local gaming servers?

There is a useful application called HLSW which actually draws little graphs and gives pings in text etc. If someone could maybe copy and paste these, I would be grateful.

I would help you out, but right now there's something funky going on with my latencies and I wouldn't be able to give you an accurate result.

Something you should be aware of though is that SAOL uses Cybersmart bandwidth. From what I've been told, Cybersmarts IPC is located in Cape Town, which means your traffic will first go through to Cape Town and then on to wherever the game server is located. This does add a fair bit onto your latency.

So, living in Durban, I get latencies of about 80-100ms on local gaming servers.

Thanks. Well this is basically what I'm looking for. If you could maybe post/paste actual results that would be awesome.

Also, if someone does post results, please indicate your location in terms of city.
 
I just got SAOL uncapped 384K yesterday.

I can test MW2 (XBox Live) for you when I get home from work.

Very bad. This has now been going on since Sunday afternoon when everyone had problems. Saol does not respond to queries on this, so we can only assume the service is going down. There seems to be no reliable uncapped service in SA below R500... yet. I'll give it another day or two before I cancel my package. Luckily there was no contract involved.

You seem to be the only guy struggling with SAOL. Others have had a prob here and there, but all seem to be resolved quickly.
