And at R 59.00 for unshaped "top-up" after you reach the 15 gig limit, damn well done, this is certainly starting to take a step in the right direction. Running a small server from home the static IP would be great for me, although a 384 line just won't cut it as I need better upload speed, infact I could live with something in the line of 1meg upload and 2 meg download, that would be nice.

What content is hosted from your server, the reason I ask is because I am running a small server from home (php/mysql/torrentflux) basic lamp mail install and 384 isn't bad not good but not bad. pages load ok... but i mean it does depend on content and number of hits...

So I think this is one of the best options for people on 384 with large bandwidth needs and the added bonus of static ip. But as said earlier drop or lower the setup fee! If you do that i will order on Monday....

...i think it gets downgraded to 384

On the other side would the pricing drop if it becomes cheaper for soal todo this product ?

I suppose the router are as it is and would not be able to do relay as well (rasspppoe etc etfc)

i agree, but only with the massive setup costs.... Y R1500? and u dnt get to keep the router.....

and R150 is far 2 cheap.........i would say a fair amount should be bout R800 bucks.... afterall we dnt get to keep the cisco router

Content is basically php, mysql and then client side download of files, therefore the need for speed and a bigish pipe.
