Hi Guys,

Hope i can get a quick answer on this.

I need to upload supporting documents for my return. I started uploading them all and got to document number 20 and now no more are showing on the list, despite clicking the upload button.

Is 20 the max? Or do i have to break the documents up into groups (e.g. Bank statements, invoices etc)) and submit the groups.

I didnt go the group route, cause when you click the button it brings up a warning asking if you are sure those are all the documents you want to submit.

Thanks

yes it has a number limit. The best you can do is scan/combine some of them in one document. Just be careful as there is a max file size.

20 doc limit - that's crazy :( 12 months of most types of docs are going to be 12 documents.

The docs I have are PDF's from the bank etc. I don't have a scanner.

My buddy who does my tax scanned my supporting document (trip sheet and medical aid certificate) and the file size was too big and then he couldn't reupload a smaller file (some issue with SARS and easy filing) I ended up going to the local branch to manually submit it.

The tripsheet (to my surprise as I just printed the scanned doc he sent me) was cut off at all the kilometer marks, he scanned it in landscape instead of portrait and the scanner cut that off, I asked the clerk if it is okay to submit a tripsheet without kilos showing, the guy said he wouldn't worry about it and I need only worry if my return amount is less than what was on the provisional report.

Luckily no problems and got all the money even with a tripsheet without kilos on it :D

I tried to use this, doesnt work as there are security elements in the PDF -now have to use PDFcrack first. Might try the offline app first.

This is turning out to be a mission.
SARS specifies that uploaded documents must not have any passwords to open them, so you have a problem there already :(

But heres the thing, there is no password required for the docs. Something in the doc is telling the app otherwise.

I downloaded the offline app - same problem.
