So my cousins girlfriend that lives in London sent him a second hand iphone that she bought on ebay. So he had to pick it up but they refusing to give him the phone without a receipt which he or his GF doesn't have. She only has the phone conversations with the person she bought it from and no receipt but they saying no receipt no phone!

What can be done?

Print out the invoice generated by eBay and give that to them.

Just make up one on the computer.

As above, get creative, get the Welsh for bull**** baffles brains, or something similar and make it purchased from Mr (B B B) or Mr R Sole of Dilgleberry Lane create a document, print it out , slightly crumple and soil it then scan and send to yourself...
Bureaucracy needs paperwork, give them some, and away you go!

My wife did a photoshoot once for somebody who needed an invoice. Googled "word invoice template", found a ****load, used the best one and voila. Just fill in the relevant details.
