SARS customs on cellphones.

I just bought a phone via Aliexpress for 115$ .. Sent via Singapore post and on my previous stuff such as clothes and makeup the tax is getting ridiculous.

My question is how do they tax this stuff..because its not adding up..paid 300 rand for customs for jacket I bought for 400

Textiles and clothes have a hefty price tag on importing to protect the local manufacturing market, where as electronics don't get manufactured here....
