If my employer pays my medical aid and pension fund (they deduct it from my total earnings) can I still claim any of that?

You verify the figures in as per your IRP 5 and if your employer didn't deduct the tax correctly, then maybe, but it unlikely they did, so the answer is no.

Mine now says, return assessed, and I have a statement of account, showing a refund amount with tomorrow's date

Does anyone know how/ where to include gains/ losses of diposal of listed shares? I see the relevant codes are 6506 and 6507 but now where can I add these items? This was speculative in nature and therefore not a CGT event. I have the IT3(c) certificate for these deductions and I cannot see any glaringly obvious unticked tick boxes for this type gains/ losses.

Side note: I also did my tax on the 1 July last year and everything went smoothly. This year the site seems to be a lot more unresponsive and takes a long time to load the return.

Completed mine at 21:35 last night. For the first time since I have had permanent employment at my current employer (33 years on the 6th of October) I must pay in! Luckily not too much (R534.00), but still.......:(

So glad I did mine late last night, the website is getting hammered at the moment.
