It would be the "covered area". I guess if your business utilises outdoor space then it would be the full extent of the erf.Can someone please remind me....when calculating the size of the house percentage to the office room, do you calculate the outside area as well?
patio/garden or just the inside?
Book a Telephonic Engagement with SARS https://tools.sars.gov.za/SARSeBooking and they will phone you and sort you out, if they have anything for you that is. They are prebooked for weeks on end though so you might only find an open spot in November!
Mine is also still awaiting an audit. Was submitted about the same time as yours. I then got charged interest on the amount owing, even though in my eyes it was still a provisional amount. Paid it just to stop the amount growing. For those who were "selected for audit", how long did it take?
I filed on 2024/07/29 and got audit notification the same day, my tax status has said "you refund is on hold subject to audit" ever since ie 68 days so far.
Filed 2024/07/28 submitted documents same day, followed it up 2x (escalated) still not allocated to an official. I am owed money so earning pity interest at least. For those who were "selected for audit", how long did it take?

Would you guys have any idea why in the wizard it's still wanting a Tax Certificate upon selecting full unemployment? Very frustrating

Thanks for the reply! It ended up being R6 of interest on my Easy Equities account balanceSo you did not even receive any interest? None? (check the full question)
Probably a bug. If you can't get someone at SARS to help, maybe just change it to 1, and if they ask you to upload it, upload a file that simply states that you had an issue with the system so you had to say "1", but there is no certificate. Hopefully someone with sense will deal with it appropriately when it gets to them.Would you guys have any idea why in the wizard it's still wanting a Tax Certificate upon selecting full unemployment? I receive a normal IRP5 from an employer as a short-term contractor, as well as other income from related work that I normally declare as business income with associated expenses.
In the past, I was always able to include the income reflected on the IRP5 as trading income. However, this option is now greyed out on e-filing.
What am I doing wrong? Something in the form creation wizard that I am missing?
The "Ask a question" function on the input page is not offering any help.
Yes that box is ticked.I assume you ticked ' Mark with an "X" if you received any other income (e.g. local business, trade, and professional income, but excluding amounts received /accrued as a beneficiary of a trust(s), or deemed to have accrued in terms of s7) and/or incur any other allowable expenses (e.g. home office expenses) not addressed above.
