SARS EFILING QUESTION

Hoping someone can help me out.

I'm trying to file my notice of objection. I managed to upload all the supporting documents but the option to SUBMIT is disabled. My uploaded documents are there and on the dispute workpage, I can see the dispute No, Dispute Supporting Documents and ITA34.

I googled filing of an objection and this is what I found:
If you object to the calculated assessment received from SARS, click “Dispute”.
Select either:
 “I would like to file a Notice of Objection”; or
 “I would like to file a Notice of Appeal”.
The NOO1 - Notice of Objection form, or NOA1 - Notice of Appeal, will open.
Complete the form, and select “File”.
Note: Mandatory fields are shown with a red ring around the required fields
For more information on the dispute process, please refer to www.sars.gov.za > All publications > Taxes - Operating Procedures - Income Tax

The problem is there is not such options under Dispute?

The question is, do I click the dispute no and file only that document? Will the attachments be filed with the Notice of Objection?

I tried phoning SARS but gave up after holding on for what seemed like a lifetime.

Sorry to bump an old thread, dont want to make a new one.

Question, can you claim back tax on interest paid on your primary bond? I know you can on your secondary bond, but can you do it on a primary bond as well?

No you can't. And secondary only if it fulfills the s11(a) criteria.

Cool. Follow up question, I work for a corporate, and Im provided with an IRP5, I submit that as is via eFiling. Should I be getting a small rebate? No medical aid, no pension, savings etc.

Will depend on the exact situation. It would come down to the med credit I believe. Likely to be very small if any.

It depends on your company's way of paying your tax. Some companies pay exact tax and some companies pay less tax taking the rebate into account. If your company paid the correct tax without taking the rebate into account then you should get back rebate amount(i think it is R7500 but not 100% sure) back.
