SARS payment

Hi guys, as tax season is into swing, I have till end Aug to pay my money owed to them.

How do you guys pay SARS ?

Usually I pay them via FNB

Can one pay with your Credit Card if possible ?

I've had to pay SARS before - just did it via FNB online banking.

But according to their FAQ:

Can I use my credit card to make payments to SARS?
No. SARS will only accept credits from bank accounts.

what if you cant pay them by the due date? can you not get some sort of payment agreement?

Are you sure you have only until end Aug to make payment, my ITA34 says

Payment should be made by 2016-01-31 after which interest will accrue on this assessment as from 2015-08-01

Top tip: Trigger the payment via Sars E-filing after a provisional assessment. This will automatically generate the beneficiary payment info with your bank. Doing it this way, you also have the bonus of having all your payments to SARS available under your Payments -> History under E-Filing.

Look on your top of your ITA34 for the following. The last date on which it should reflect on SARS side is the second due date

Due date : x
Second date : x

.... "Payment should be made by 2015-08-31 after which interest will accrue on this assessment as from 2015-08-01 "

Mine says this:

Payment should be made by 2016-01-31 after which interest will accrue on this assessment as from 2015-10-01

I guess I can't complain, as I've never had to pay SARS. woop woop!!
