Probily the only time i actually need to get hold of them and their national hotline aint working.:twisted:

Needed a place to rage.Attorneys phoned me telling me im not registered with SARS.However I supplied a document from SARS to them.

Should have been expected since they are not providing a good service.

Did they ever confirm that they received the document when you first sent it? They may have miss filed it. Try emailing sars efiling, usually respond quickly.
 
Hey guys, dont know where to post this but hopefully some one can help with sone info.

My gf submitted her tax via efiling for this year. Everything was fine but they required last years as well.. She worked for 3 different places.. She only has 2 of the 3 irp5s needed... The 3rd irp5 that is missing is from a company that has closed down completely and no mater what we do we can not get hold of them...
So we created a form on efiling for last years return and all 3 irp5s were there, we double checked the two that we have and all the details were correct so we sent it including the one that we cant get...
Now they sent a letter saying that they requiere the documents for last years return.. We went to the police station and got an afferdavit saying that we can not get the irp5. so we have submitted the irp5s we have and the affedavit.
the problem is that we filed the return wothout the irp5..
will she be getting into trouble?
What can we expect?
they owe her R5000 for now until they investigate further.

just wait till they have finalised the return. maybe they accept what is on the system as the IRP 5 is already on the system. have you checked that there isn't a lump sum IRP 5 certificate as well. perhaps she received a lump sum when she left one of the companies and this is what they are wanting as well. phone SARS and check that there isn't a tax directive issued from an administrator.

You are actually 100% correct!!
forgot to mention she got her pension payed out as well.
We have the irp5 for that and we sent it ad well:)
