SAS Analytics - How to get started?

I work in an industry where my role is constantly evolving. As part of that evolution, I have identified SAS Analytics as a skill that I would like to learn.

I have advanced GIS experience and believe that SAS would compliment this quite well, especially as Big Data coupled with a spatial element is becoming more and more relevant, think Uber

Can anyone recommend a learning program (formal or non-formal) which I could do in order to get started with SAS?

Is there a learning licence for SAS available or similar freeware, just for learning?
