It is really easy to chew through a lot a data in a short time. We have 10 people in the house and we all share a 500/200 line. Apart from all the data consumed by the cellphones, laptops, media streaming devices, Netflix is active any given time on 3 screens and one mobile most of the day, the kids are downloading and updating XBOX and PS5 games. The Call of Duty update alone was +- 85GB and the download about 150GB - that is on XBOX alone. Not even talking about the PS5 data consumption. Kids playing games while another is busy downloading and updating in the background. Play for a while, the uninstall and download new games and streaming Youtube Disney + IPTV etc. Netflix alone consume about 7GB per hour streaming in 4K on 1 device. I use line for work, so I download the occasional ISO, drivers etc. Also using Zoom calls and Google data backups.
Now that it is holiday, they have friends over and the phones, tablets and other smart devices are connected and consuming data. My Gaming PC also downloading games and updates - consuming data as it goes - Windows updates etc. I would say the average data consumption in my household is -+ 25TB per month - the most was 45TB - we can easily break 70TB +- per month, not even using the line to its full potential.
