SA's electricity crisis

This is a state owned company and so ultimately this is directly about government management and the ANC has absolutely no one or nothing to blame but themselves and their own failed policies.
 
Usual SA CEO tactic, profit at all costs & let someone else deal when the stuff hits the fan.. Well done ;-) gotto to love the state enterprises in monopoly situations
 
Great article! Sums up all the issues perfectly. If eishkom had listened to certain people all those years ago, they would have currently been cutting over to renewable energy with a well maintained infrastructure as backup.

The solutions are so painfully obvious, it makes me want to scream. But the issue is useless and incompetent buffoons, who are more interested in covering their own butts than actually trying to grow this country.
