I'm trying to build a rather simple program that tests a table. But in no way is the standard help for SAS useful, and I can't find any decent support on Google. Does anyone know where I can find solutions?

I need SAS Code that does the following:
1. Checks if selected columns are in fact in the dataset
2. Checks if above columns are in a certain format
3. Checks if the data in the above columns are usable
4. If the table fails any of these tests, an detailed error should be given and the process must be stopped.

I'm adding this code to "Idiot Proof" our current SAS Macros. I have no idea where to start... :)

bleg...can't remember.. I'll ask a friend of mine, he works for sas.

Perhaps that's not a bad idea... I'll call SAS and ask them. They helped me a few months ago to with C# code that accesses and controls SAS remotely. :)

This is a nightmare... I can't log onto SAS Forums, because of that conformation email thingy and our mail server is down... Oh, well. Guess I can catch up on some other work.
