Sasol prostrates itself

Is this an opinion piece?

I ask becuase, it is riddled by the writer's own subjective view on this deal. Which IMO is long overdue for a company like Sasol. And it "seems" to encompass all the values of true empowerment.

Now if I could only offord the shares when it comes up for public offer. :)

This article is a load of hogwash.

Basically claiming that Sasol is still a bastion of Apartheid. So, a bunch of white guys developed the currently, only, viable alternative to Petrol and they are now being slated for being pioneers and actually profitting off their foresight?

Sure, IMO the only real empowerment deal is on the basis of shares. Not a bunch of window dressing and back slapping. But is something so revolutionary really the exclusive reserver of on group, rather for all South Africans.
