can somebody please describe how this cables look like (from the rectron price list):

GC-SATA21 GIGABYTE® SATA Data Cable - 2 connectors
GC-SATA41 GIGABYTE® SATA Data Cable - 4 connectors

thanks

You are missing it. A Sata cable does not have multiple connectors. A single cable services a single drive and uses a single connector on the motherboard. When they say "4 connectors" they mean the motherboard has four connectors for Sata on it. Which means you can plug in 4 drives.

no this are cables, nothing to do with motherboards

They are packs of SATA cables (2 in a pack and 4 in a pack)
ok then, that makes sense, but the descriptions is stupid, they should have said pack of 1 or 2 or 4 cables ... so does 4 connectors mean 2 cables x 2 connectors each? or does it mean 4 cables, with 2 connectors each? It is so confusing!

I take it that they are the standard SATA cable with one connector at each end. And there are 4 Standard connectors in the larger 4 pack.
