Satellite Broadband

Hey Guys.

Been researching Sattellite Broadband, came across AltoAfrica, seems like they are based in Cape Town.

Is Satellite Broadband worth getting and in what circumstances.

I dont know much about Satellite Broadband.

Maybe some of you can give me some insight to it and which are good providers - only one i have seen thus far is AltoAfrica.

Usually expensive and latency can be very high... But if you can't get anything else and do not have 3G reception then it might be an option. I.e. if you live in a rural area somewhere it could be worthwhile.

That's as much as I know... Look for some articles on MyBB?
