I have an LG tv that can take a satellite connection. I've ditched Dstv. Can I connect the satellite directly to the tv and get free cahnnels to watch?

Unfortunately, it does not work that way. Those antennas are already borderline rubbish, just barely within technical limits. That means interchanging bits from other makes of antenna is just a recipe for even worse performance. The best you can do as already suggested is to go and see if you can get one off a scrapped antenna somewhere. Frankly, the effort is not worth it, just get a new antenna. Not sure if this is the correct place to ask but it has to do with satellite dish.
I have an Aerial King satellite dish for Openview. I have had it for a few years now and the dish is still in a very good condition. The problem is that the LNB arm is rusting away. I need to replace the arm only but Aerial King does not sell the arm separately and say that I have to buy the dish to get the arm. I saw that Ellies has a similar LNB arm but they also said that they don't sell the arm separately.
Does anyone know where I can just get the LNB arm for the dish?

Thank you. Yes, I have come to realise that. To me it's just such a waste have to buy a new dish setup when my current dish is perfectly fine. Trying to find another LNB arm will not be worth the effort considering the price of a new dish.Unfortunately, it does not work that way. The make quite good bird baths. The older steel ones could also be used for a skottel braai a few times maybe. The aluminium ones?Thank you. Yes, I have come to realise that.
