This is my new addiction these days! Its one of those games where "Just one more thing before i go to bed" happens constantly!

Is there anyone here playing it?

If you dont know about it you can see more info here:

I assumeif you sign up for the newsletter, you can then download Early access? Not finding where else to download. Or must you buy it on Epic games to play early?

I played that for almost a week straight on release day, not proud of that but now waiting for dedicated servers before handing my life over.

It is super amazing, if you even liked Factorio, you will love this game.

@Ares1000101 You have to buy it to have access, current'y it's in early access

Epic Games is still supposedly in a boycott, but I like how some reviewers support the boycott but use Epic exclusive titles in their benchmarks, but anyway, nobody has an issue with claiming the titles they are giving away.

I didn't mention this randomly. The new update #3 coming out indicated that the game is coming to Steam.

I own a copy on two separate Epic accounts. Good game and the devs are still promising many more things to come.

they are going to be bringing it to Steam "soon TM" so if you wanna wait for that you can, just not sure when, other than that, need to get it on the epic launcher

It was first released on epic on 19 March 2019, and in all their videos they said they have a one year exclusivity deal with Epic, so I assume it will be on steam somewhere in March

I stopped once I had built everything on the previous big update.

Looks like I need to update and check what's new to build.

Apparently the devs are being swamped with requests to move their Epic licence over to Steam

Because the dev did sign a 1-year exclusive deal with Steam, the earliest date to come to Steam is March 24th.

Happily, the devs have their own hosting ecosystem and won't integrate with SteamWorks other than achievements, cloud saves and all that.

I'm not too worried if I can't move my key over to steam, it would be great if I could though

Valve will then request the dev to give them a 30% revenue cut. Insane.

If that is the case then I don't mind it staying on Epic, their service is quickly getting better and better

Since the GOG Galaxy 2.0 client, I couldn’t care less about having multiple launchers. Look, I don’t like exclusivity, but I know why Epic is doing it. Likewise with Valve trying to lock devs in SteamWorks.

All I want is better gaming titles, especially indie game developers who work with small budgets. Epic is giving them that chance, and they do have good curation. There is like no schit titles on Epic.

But yah, to continue with the topic. We should all play the game together and I am hoping to see private servers coming, but it would be most likely be closer to release. I play with my kid, my 9-year-old understands the game better than I do.

It's pretty good yeah. How far from complete is it now? The last I remember I think I was manufacturing T3/T4 things, but decided to wait a year or two for more content.

And all this Steam vs Epic stuff... Meh. I take value wherever I can find it.

They don't publish roadmaps, anymore, which is a good thing in my opinion since it sets expectations, but they did promise, and promises are a sentence.

Further down the road - TBD

• Improvements on core gameplay and systems
• The rest of the FICSIT Milestones and Tech Unlocks
• More buildings, parts, vehicles and creatures
• Complete narrative
• More optimization
• Dedicated Servers
• Mod support

Mod support in regard to Epic Store... well that isn't in the current phase, but only in the next phase which should be Q4 this year. Unless you do custom mod installs, obviously, but Steam has really good mod support.

They are pretty hard at work to get this game where you won't be able to stop playing it, they post very regular updates and interact with almost everyone on twitter. Definitely some of the most liked developers I've seen in a while.

Is this game multiplayer in some sense?

It has listen servers which are awesome but also a bit of a pain, the host saves the file, which means unless the other people copy the save file back and forth, if the host is not playing no one plays on that world
