Anyone signed up for Satrix's new Unit Trusts options? This one in particular?

How has it been performing?

I was very keen to get it setup thinking that I could simply add it to my existing ETF portfolio and then they threw a ream of paperwork at me and so I never got to it.

Seriously if they made investment less painful and hassle free I would have been a much richer man today.

It's done close to 10% in the last 3 months.

Satrix, or AOS to be more specific, always requires a lot of paperwork and follow up calls to get anything done.
I suggest they take a look at Allan Grays platform and learn a few things from them, it's so easy and painless, and you never need to do paper work once you on their platform, I can do EVERYTHING online.

I have since sold all my shares held through them, and buy the ETF's through my broker instead.

I went with the MSCI ETF for Dow Jones (US) and the MSCI one with Euro stoxx. Was considering this one but looks like it includes like several thousand shares. These 3 ,they have all been performing well last few months. Etfsa has the US and Euro one via Deutshe Bank. About 0.8 TER i think, what is the cost via Satrix.

Was pretty painless for me, they also use AOS I think Satrix also use them. Used to their multistep process now -make deposit, complete investment on their site, complete application form, email application form and proof of deposit. OK maybe not so painless, but at least Im able to sign digitally so don't have to print out and scan stuff.
