Im not quite sure what posts you guys are reading...
The thread is regarding investing R300 in Satrix Top40,
wherby I questioned the research of buying after a big up day then a down day.
I also just pointed out though, as a side note, that "buy and hold" that
everyone loves is not as simple as it seems.
Apparently this meant Im advocating trading, saying pullbacks dont exist and I shouldnt
question anyones research?
Especially if I know that research is wrong.
Well to respond...no, no I would not advocate trading for someone investing R 300 a month,
as brokerage fees will cost R 150 per month minimum.
I also dont advocate "Buy and Hold" as its mainly for the lazy and misinformed as well.
And I am sorry for questioning any kind of statement, I forgot there is no space
for truth on a forum.
...As far as Efficient market hypothesis goes though I agree,
even Buffet said its a load of #$%@
