Fixed.Once you've flashed your modem with the Huawei dash, uninstall VMC.
What you want is to stop the dashboard from being run when you insert the modem
Run regedit, go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run, delete anything that looks suspicious, repeat for HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run.It starts automatically with each reboot
