Hey guys, this is basically just for Web Africa subscribers who has their ADSL line with them as well, but figured I'd post it here because it might save some people money.
Earlier in the month (20th of Feb) Web Africa sent out an email that might have looked like a marketing mail that said you have to "upgrade" and gave you a recommendation as to what they think you should upgrade TO. It stated that you won't be upgraded automatically.
Now, normally an email like that just goes on "ignore" from my side because I wasn't interested in upgrading my account at all. However what they didn't mention in this email is that you have to at least convert your account to the similar "twin" package on their new range called "Complete" (previously, DSL Bronze/Silver etc)
If you do not convert your account (or take advantage and upgrade it) manually, you will be paying the old prices until you do.
This means you will lose out on any savings according to the press release on the 15th of February 2010 on Mybroadband.
So if you are a customer of theirs with your ADSL line with them, I suggest you go into your Customer Area, click on "Services" and click on the "Upgrade" button, where you will be able to choose to convert (or upgrade) your account to their new pricing structure.
I hope this isn't too late for the 1st of March debit order run, but I'm sure if you upgrade now and log a ticket with Billing they will credit your account in case of it being incorrectly debited.
