Save the Firepool's Wikipedia page

this one got me Laughing :

It's clearly a parody. Funny : definitely; Appropriate for Wikipedia : Definitely not. It belongs on UrbanDictionary and the likes. A factual wikipedia article about the firepool controversy is appropriate, not a joke page like this.
 
It is factual, government ministers have called it a firepool. The ministers may well be a joke, or a parody of what a civil servant ought to be, but much time and money has been wasted in confirming the need of this as well as it's name> Firepool.
Thus it ought not to be deleted, as it is very much factual!

You're missing the point. The government themselves referenced Wikipedia as a reliable source of information. So their own definition of a Firepool definitely belongs on it...
 
Erm.... isn't there an option for deletion as it contain nearly no truths? Because that is the case... That is a swimming pool MNR ZOOMA...

Catch 22 : the authorities can only motivate for its deletion by agreeing that it is a parody (ie not factual)

I would like to respond by saying, "if only this were a joke". The Wikipedia page is well referenced from reliable internet sites. I have taken the liberty of adding two these below for your easy reading:

With ministers and government also referring to this as a "firepool", I think the use of the word is acceptable. Is it justifiable to "own" its own page? Well that is a different debate. If it were retained as a "stub" then it is both acceptable and justified.

You are joking right? The whole thing may be a joke as far as lying and covering up the misappropriation of taxpayers money goes but it's very much factual. Sad when people can no longer distinguish facts and parody coming from a country. Just shows the joke SA has rightly become.
