Hi all,
I bought a Blackberry 8520 on Friday from VC.

Now, I suppose like all newbies, I google all Blackberries to check out deals ect,..:D ( ok maybe not everyone does this )

I came across this advert for Blackberry phones, seems to good to be true.

Blackberry Bold 9700, new, sealed box, 2year warranty, open to all networks........R2900.00 plus R215.00 DHL courier fee to your door. Can this be true, or is it a scam

If you google Salvin Trading, you will get to the adverts,..............has anyone had any dealings with these guys.

Thanks

Be very careful. If a phone is not bought from Vodacom Service Provider Company, then we will not even look @ that phone if something goes wrong with it. You will have to find a guy @ the flea market to fix it, and most of those guys look very dodge to me. Your call.

PS: That is way way way below our cost. If it sounds to good to be true, it normally is.

This is definetly some Scam, you cannot even get the phone in the uk with exchange for the same price. If you really want to get the 9700, save up for 5months, put a R1000 aside every month. I would never ever fall prey to internet advertising like that ever again - learnt once.
