ScanGauge II / Fuel Consumption Computer.

I've taken an interest in increasing my fuel economy.

I've found the ScanGuageII
That can display real time fuel consumption readings while the car is being used.

The only place I've found it locally is at have2have but they asking more than double the price for it.

Is there anywhere else in South Africa where I can buy one of these?

surely an alternative could be found at local parts wholesalers like autozone/midas etc?

also why not just work out your consumption by calculation?

I do currently log all my fuel. I use Fuel Log . Which is awesome, Though it doesn't do real time fuel consumption.

What alternatives are there to the ScanGauge ?
