So i was given some sample liquors - they have been sitting in the pantry forever, but last week i figured time to muck about with them
i tried the rose as well as the fig stirred into vanilla ice cream - very very nice indeed.
going to try the aniseed in a venison casserole over the weekend. - should be interesting.
the distillery itself has quite a pedigree going back to 1844.

the peach mampoer will do down well while reading some herman charles bosman

Boet and Martie already started to distill mampoer in 1992. With the liquor from the kettle, Martie makes liquors and shooters. Some of the liquors is aged to make unique brandy’s. The mampoer and wit-blits are completely pure and no additives are added to the liquor.
