Education roleplayers greeted the news with astonishment and fear, saying the move would almost certainly result in late deliveries to schools next year.
According to the model, the department would transfer funds to individual schools by the end of August so school governing bodies (SGBs) may order directly from booksellers in order for stationery and textbooks to be delivered by the end of the year.
School Governing bodies, watch that money disappear, will there be something in place to make sure the money goes to where it is supposed to end up - textbooks.

I’ll admit I don’t know the exact details of the type of books supplied, but I’m a little curious as to why these schools need new textbooks every year? If these textbooks arent re-usable again, why not and why haven’t they been made that way?
It just seems a massive waste that every year new textbooks need to be ordered and every year without fail there is some kind of bungle with non-delivery. Other than cancelling tenders, what other processes are followed to ensure tenderpreneurs are held accountable for non delivery?
