"The film stars the ageing Leon Schuster and his right-hand man who has been by his side for decades, Alfred Ntombela, as well as Tumi Morake, Jerry Mofokeng and Jay Anstey"

@JuliusSeizure are you going to watch Mr Bones 3?

Probably not anytime soon might maybe one day if I'm drinking or something but not planning to drink anytime soon.

Cringe movies hit a lot differently when you are drunk.

With that being said, he does seem to have a big following among the older generation (50+) so the movie should perform okay though not compared to how he performed in his heyday.

I think it'll do quite well. Not that many other films releasing in the first half of next year.

Um, is Schuster even allowed to be seen alive nowadays with all the reee'ing, cultural appropriations, micro aggressions something or others and what not... feels folks are going to implode seeing him wearing animal skins

Another fake outrage as usual from the hell that is twitter, but he seems to have some support at least. I think the film will be another success

There's a wholllllllle movies and entertainment sub section for this. Why is this is N&CA worthy?

Twitter is not his market anyway so it shouldn't affect the performance of the movie too much. Most of his fans are not on Twitter.

Opinion of him in the late 90s and early 2000s was different. He was definitely one of the most successful South African comics from that time so it is relevant. I myself was a fan of his as a young boy then but started to find it cringe when having to be forced to watch them as a student when I used to use coaches to move around the country. For some reason the local coaches took a liking to his stuff.

Something like this seems more Netflix's ally. This would easily trend for a month or 2 on Netflix because South Africans will watch it out of morbid curiosity.

Can see SK making massive loss on this
