I have a Big Boy RCT170 scooter. The belt seems to keep getting stuck in the variator/clutch. When this happens it acts as if your car is in gear and you start it without holding in the clutch. This happens as soon as you try and pull away or rev the engine in standing. It will shudder and then stall. I have to remove the casing and reset it manually to get it to work normal again. I took it to the local Big Boy agent and they said the roller got stuck and they freed it. We replaced the whole Variator and clutch and still this happens.
