Scott McGregor serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Broadcom Corporation. In this role, he is responsible for guiding the vision and direction for the company's growth strategy.
McGregor joined Broadcom in 2005 from Philips Semiconductors where he served as President and CEO. Starting in 2001 as CEO, he directed one of the world's largest semiconductor suppliers with 34,000 employees in more than 50 countries and nearly U.S. $6 billion in sales. He was also a member of the Group Management Committee of Royal Philips Electronics. McGregor joined Philips in 1998 as head of its Emerging Business unit, focusing on fast growing markets for smart cards, radio-frequency identification (RFID), networking, digital media processing and computing.
